I'm an epidemiologist who has been working in the state government since 2021. My work there is related to public health surveillance and evaluation, including things like managing a hospital-based weapon-related injury data system, working on a new community health data system, a lot of public report writing, and evaluation of programs for people with disabilities. I also have an MPH from Boston University.
Epi Notes Blog: Personally I like the one about a weird evaluation metric in a Kaggle competition I entered, and the one about how data analysis is less about "generating knowledge" and more about communicating with a really tiny audience.
